About the Weblog

  • This weblog is mainly for hedgehog lovers and mostly for fun. At first, I collected hedgehogs because I thought they were cute. When I began to learn more about the little creatures, I found they are becoming endangered in the wild due to habitat destruction and accidental death by cars and farm machinery. My wish is to bring some happiness and amusement to others who also love hedgehogs. In addition, I hope that more people will learn about the plight of these harmless little animals, and do what they can to protect them.

It’s almost here! Christmas is next week, and Santa Claus will be sliding down the chimney. Have you been good this year?

We had lots of fun decorating our tree. The tree at our house has hedgehog ornaments and tiny lights. What kind of ornaments are on your tree? Did you make any ornaments for your tree?

We like to dress up like Santa and Mrs. Claus for Christmas. (The dog photobombed our picture!) Lots of people like to dress up like Santa. You might see them out this time of year. Do you have a picture of yourself dressed like Santa when you were a baby? You might even have a picture of yourself sitting on Santa’s lap!

Have fun this Christmas! Remember that Christmas is about love and kindness, too.

  • Thanks to a chance meeting, my book found its illustrator. In Stratford-upon-Avon, my husband and I met a British man who happens to live in the US.
