The host of the web page for my book, The Roundabout Hedgehog Journey, was recently affected by a cyber attack that erased all of their customers' data. It came at an unfortunate time for me because my book had just been reviewed in the IHA newsletter and featured by Marjorie Liucci of Marmee Craft in an adorable Woodland Tale.
Anyone who might have inquired would have found nothing at the web page, which is now up and running again. I thought this would be the proper time to feature the book on my blog.
The Roundabout Hedgehog Journey tells the tale of Eliza and Alfie, two little English hedgehogs. As their story begins, they are sound asleep in their country garden. Suddenly, they awake to find themselves in the back of a wagon headed to the city. There is a good deal of trouble ahead for the little hedgehogs in their roundabout, rhyming adventure.
Here are three of Nancy Burch's illustrations. More details about the book are located at www.happyhedgehogs.com.
Illustrator Nancy Burch recently read The Roundabout Hedgehog Journey to a class of Florida first graders. Here are a few of their comments and pictures they drew on their well-written thank you notes:
Gabriela--"Thank you for reading your friend's book that you illustrated. I loved the story. It was great."
