Today we stayed outside all day. The sun was shining and the weather was warm. It was a good day to rake the leaves because most of them were down from the trees. Pterry had fun running and jumping in the leaf piles.
We were wondering why the leaves can’t stay on the trees all the time. Why do they turn red or yellow or brown and then fall on the ground? Why do we have to rake them up instead of leaving them on the ground? Here are some places you can go to find out:
We also planted some flowers today. We planted pansies because they bloom all winter and don’t mind the snow at all! We put bulbs under the ground about six inches.
