A friend of mine found these cute, smiley hedgehog note cards at Target. The bright aqua blue ceramic hedgehog showed up at my house via my daughter-in-law. My husband found these hedgehog notes at a dollar store in Japan! You never know where or when you'll find a hedgehog, but it's so nice to have friends and family who think of you when they do.
Earlier in the school year, I sent a copy of my book, The Roundabout Hedgehog Journey, to a an elementary teacher who was starting her first year. Her students sent me some very sweet thank-you notes!
