PYGMY PUFF AND HARRY POTTER

I have finally made my way to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! My husband was kind enough to take me earlier this month. Universal Studios has constructed a wonderful replica of Hogsmeade, including Hogwarts Castle. They have also created an item to sell for almost everything mentioned in the books. Wands, robes, dragons, chocolate frogs, owls, etc. are for sale. My only purchase, other than the butter beer and pumpkin juice, was a pygmy puff. (I decided it looked close enough to a hedgehog to join my collection.) Along with the pygmy puff, in the photo above, is a sweet little hedgehog nail brush that a friend of mine gave me recently.

EVEN MORE HEDGEHOG GIFTS

These are the last of my wonderful Christmas gift hedgehogs for 2011. The George Carruth "Henry Hedgehog" candle from Aspen Bay Company is beautifully designed and smells so good! It is another great find by my sister-in-law that came from Hedgehog Gifts at Hedgehog Harbor in Door County, Wisconsin. The store owner there has a fantastic collection of unique and fine quality hedgehog items. If you are really into hedgehogs, it would be worth a trip to Door County.

My son mail-ordered this adorable hedgehog tea pot from France, but it is made in Japan. If you look closely, you can see the ladybug on the teapot lid.  I love it!

Crystal hedgehogs are so beautiful and really catch the light. You do have to be careful of the sharp points when handling them.  My brother and sister-in-law gave me this sparkly, sweet hedgehog.

This cute hedgehog tape measure is another great gift from my son. I can't say where it is from because the package is mostly in Japanese, but it does say "O.su.ma.shi Animal Series." I love unique and useful items like this.

MORE GREAT HEDGEHOG GIFTS

People continue to think of me at Christmas in terms of hedgehog gifts.  Of course, it makes me very happy. The new Ty Beanie Baby hedgehog "Prickles" is very cute as is the adorable "Bristles" paperweight by Dora.  I now have a sweet little hedgehog puzzle by Re-marks and a tiny green Beanie Puzzle Eraser, also by Ty and also named "Prickles." I'm not sure what company made the quirky green T-shirt, but I love it!
