This handsome, hat-wearing hedgehog is a print by S. Georgieff of Poor Dog Farm. He has all sorts of beautifully painted creatures wearing hats or crowns in his Etsy Shop. This print is small, and I found a perfect deep frame that really sets it off.
Another new addition to my houseful of hedgehogs is Prickly Pile-up by House of Marbles. The "point" of the game is to stack as many hedgehogs as possible before they all fall down. It's harder than it looks. An interesting observation is that the box I ordered from the US calls the pieces porcupines in English and French (porc-epic), but uses the German word for hedgehog, igel. The website for the company, House of Marbles, calls them hedgehogs. Whatever you wish to call them, they're cute!
